What is a virtual terminal?
A secure web page where you type in a card to charge it. It does what a countertop terminal does, for sales where the card is not in front of you.
Is a keyed payment more expensive?
Yes, a little. The card brands charge more when the card isn't present, and that cost passes through at cost. Our merchants' average keyed and online rate is 1.8% + 10¢.
Can I use it alongside a terminal?
Yes. Same account, same statement, same deposit. Many merchants run both.
Can I take bank payments with it?
Yes. ACH can be added to the same login for invoices and recurring plans.
Is it secure?
